Development strategy for the country's main university

Deputies of the Committee on Education, Public Associations and Media heard a report on the implementation of “The Development Strategy of Pridnestrovian State University named after Taras Shevchenko for the period 2019-2023” state target program.

The total amount of planned funding was about 37 million rubles when the state program was approved in 2019. 27 million of these were planned to be allocated from the republican budget, another 10 million rubles were special funds from the university from the provision of various educational, scientific, and advisory services. As the rector of Pridnestrovian State University Vladislav Sokolov noted, the amount of budget funding was constantly adjusted during the operation of the state program.

Approximately 2.2 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget for its implementation over the entire period of operation of the state program. This amounted to 8% of the originally planned amount.

The Committee on Education, Public Associations and Media decided to submit consideration of the resolution on approval of the report on the implementation of “The Development Strategy of Pridnestrovian State University named after Taras Shevchenko for the period 2019-2023” to the next plenary meeting of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
