The Unified State Register of Immovable Cultural Heritage Objects will include monuments of art, the date of creation of which is unknown. Appropriate additions will be made to the Law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic "On Immovable Cultural Heritage Objects". The Parliamentary Committee on Education, Public Associations and Mass Media supported the amendments to the law-in-draft in the second reading and sent it for consideration at the next plenary session of the Parliament.

According to the current legislation, it is necessary to conduct a state historical and cultural expertise, which determines the historical and cultural value of the object in order to include a cultural monument in the State Register. Information is entered into the register, which contains the name of the object its location and the date of creation of the monument of art after that. Cultural heritage objects that are at least 40 years old can be included in the register today.

However, the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic notes that it is impossible to determine the exact age of some art monuments sometimes, due to the lack of archival information. And some cultural heritage sites were created recently. For example, a monument-bust of M.I. Kutuzov was installed on Borodino Square only in 1997, but it already requires restoration and state protection. Therefore, the Government has developed and sent to the Supreme Council a legislative initiative that will allow inclusion in the State Register of art monuments, the date of creation of which is unknown or less than 40 years have passed since the date of creation.

According to the authors of the law-in-draft, the new norms will help preserve important cultural heritage sites of our republic and increase the tourist attractiveness of Pridnestrovie.

The deputies of the Committee discussed in the course of the meeting the additions to the Law of the PMR "On Education". Developed by the Government of the PMR the law-in-draft will allow the Ministry of Education to determine the standards for the material and technical equipment of schools, kindergartens and boarding schools. According to the Minister of Education of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Svetlana Ivanishina, there were no certain procurement norms before. The goods such as, for example, household chemicals or personal hygiene products, were purchased as needed. According to the Government, the new measures will help make the procurement mechanism more transparent and organized. Deputies of the relevant Committee supported the law in the second reading and sent it for consideration at the plenary session.
