Work was carried out at 9 sites last year within the framework of the “Preservation of immovable cultural heritage sites of the PMR that require urgent repairs for 2019-2024” state target program. There are monuments to Soviet soldiers among them who died during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, in the villages of Tsybulevka, Koikovo, Dubovo and Krasny Vinogradar, Dubossary district, the Memorial to the victims of fascism in the city of Dubossary and the Memorial of Revolutionary, Military and Labor Glory of Railway Workers (in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution) in the city of Bendery.
The list includes the building of the former dacha of doctor Flemmer, in which the 2nd Bendery militant conference took place in 1919, which decided to hold the Bendery armed uprising, and the House-Museum of Hero of the Soviet Union Zharchinsky in the village of Rashkov, Kamenka district.
Activities were planned to design and improve the tourist route to the “Tower of the Winds” object in the village of Stroentsy, Rybnitsa district in 2023. This architectural monument of the 19th century, of great interest to tourists today, was built in memory of Wittgenstein, the great commander of the Russian army, hero of the Patriotic War of 1812. Actual work was not carried out, design work was completed due to unfavorable weather conditions last year. The development of the tourist route will continue in 2024.
2.088.785 rubles were planned in the republican budget for the implementation of the state program in 2023, but 1.757.815 rubles were actually financed, according to the report presented by the head of the State Service for Culture and Historical Heritage of the PMR Maria Kyrmyz. The program implementation rate was 84.2%.
A report on the implementation in 2023 of the “Preservation of immovable cultural heritage sites of the PMR that require urgent repairs for 2019-2024” state program will be presented to the deputy corps at one of the upcoming plenary sessions. Deputies of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Public Associations and the Media unanimously supported the corresponding draft resolution at today's meeting.
