The deputies of the Committee discussed in the course of the meeting a number of legislative initiatives that will be considered by the deputy corps at the next plenary meetings.
Parliamentarians discussed a legislative initiative to amend and supplement the Law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection". The law-in-draft was developed by the Government in order to eliminate the conflict between the norms of the above-mentioned law and the norms of the Pridnestrovian Civil Procedure Code, which determine the procedure for applying a court decision for immediate execution. The deputies will consider the law-in-draft in the third final reading at the plenary session this week.
The deputies supported the amendments to the law-in-draft “On Amendments to the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Law “On Electronic Document and Electronic Signature” in the second reading. The law-in-draft developed by the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic proposes to clarify the concept of "electronic signature" and introduce the principles of using electronic signatures into the current legislation. The law-in-draft according to the author will create a favorable background for the accelerated development of electronic document management in the republic.
The amendments to the Law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic “On Higher and Postgraduate Professional Education” and the Labor Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic were discussed in the second reading. The legislations will be included in the agendas of the next plenary sessions.
