Standards for the provision of household chemicals and hygiene products

The Ministry of Education may have the authority to develop and approve standards for the provision of schools, kindergartens and boarding schools with household chemicals and hygiene products. The law-in-draft was discussed in the course of online meeting of the Committee on Education, Public Associations and the Media. As Minister of Education Svetlana Ivanishina noted, that goods were purchased based on the needs of organizations before there were no procurement norms.

As the deputies of the relevant committee noted, if the Ministry of Education develops standards, then budget expenditures will be planned transparently and optimally.

The deputies of the Committee will recommend the adoption of the proposed law-in-draft in two readings at once in the course of one of the plenary sessions.
