On the way of problems solutions

The Committee on public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy continued to work on the law "On mass media". The rules of law "On payment of workers of budgetary sphere and monetary contentment of military officers and the persons equal to them on conditions of payment of monetary contentment" required improving. The Supreme Council received two alternative legislations - the government and parliamentarians Igor Buga and Sergey Khankevich. Profile Committee decided to recommend the adoption of the first reading of the document, prepared by deputies. It is aimed at improving standards, providing legal guarantee for comprehensive and objective coverage of three branches of government and the president in the state media. There's also a procedure for the formation of a special fund, amounting to 50% of the wage fund of the actual number of journalists.

Deputies of the Committee on Public Associations were the authors of the amendments to the Civil Code. They suggested that the procedure for refutation of false information contained in the Internet space, discrediting the honor, dignity and business reputation of citizens. Parliamentarians call the law-in-draft innovative.

Proposed by deputies initiative to improve Civil Code will be recommended for adoption in the first reading.
