The Supreme Council continues to discuss the law-in-draft “On the republican budget 2019”. The questions of the deputies of the parliamentary committee on public associations, sports, information and youth policy at the meeting of the working body were answered by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister Tatyana Kirova. The parliamentarians focused on next year’s spending and, in particular, on ensuring state priority obligations. According to the people's representatives, the basis for the draft budget 2019 should remain the president’s people’s program.

It was about the possibility of raising the level of wages and pensions next year. This can be achieved with a more rational use of available budget funds, their effective distribution, deputies believe. This year, thanks to a number of legislative and managerial decisions, it was possible to increase the level of wages in individual departments and organizations.

During the meeting of the committee, representatives of the state unitary enterprise “Post-office of Pridnestrovie”, the state institution “PGTRK”, PSU named after T.G. Shevchenko informed deputies. The level of wages in these organizations has also become a subject of discussion for parliamentarians. Following the discussion, the deputies formed a unified position, which the committee will submit as part of the first reading of the draft budget planned for next week.
