The parliamentary Committee on Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy opposed proposed by the president wording of the law "On the Public Chamber of PMR". At the same time the members of parliament, as well as members of the existing Public Chamber, we consider that the law itself is needed.

He suggested the Chairman of the Public Chamber to appeal to the authors of the law-in-draft with a reasoned proposal to withdraw the initiative. Sergey Smirichinsky informed deputies that the corresponding letter has already been sent to address of the President. Social activists are waiting for a response. Parliamentarians decided to postpone the vote. Consideration of the issue will be continued at the Committee next meeting, which will be held in two weeks.
