Electronic Signature into life

The Committee on Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy held its first working meeting in the autumn session.

The first September meeting of the profile committee, and there is immediately a large package of legislative initiatives. Its authors, parliamentarians Igor Buga, Pavel Shinkaryuk and Andrei Safonov explained: the legislations they drafted are aimed at the implementation and practical application of the norms of the law "On an electronic document and electronic signature".

Deputies in the course of the meeting examined the legislative initiative of Viktor Ivanchenkov, chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Pridnestrovie, whose goal is to grant the right of a public organization to establish its own printed periodical under its historical name "Trade Union News". The author proposed to add this wording to the law "On Trade Unions and Guarantees of Activities". As Viktor Ivanchenkov noted, the newspaper under this name was established by the trade union organization in 1995, but then, without coordination with trade union members, the rights of the founder were transferred to a private person. The legislative initiative prescribes the right of a public organization to appoint the editor-in-chief. Deputies supported the law-in-draft and recommended it for adoption in the first reading.

Another issue related to the media is the appointment of the editor-in-chief of the state news agency "The News of Pridnestrovie". The responsible committee recommended the candidacy of Alexander Ivanishko for this position, at the moment acting chief editor of "NP". The question of the appointment will be submitted to the next plenary session of the session of the Supreme Council.

At the same time, Pavel Shinkaryuk, member of the Committee, addressed the representatives of the State Service for Mass Media. He conveyed a request from the inhabitants of Slobodzeya, who hope for the opening of a state television channel in their city in the near future. According to the parliamentarian, they are in all regions of the republic, and only not in the largest region.
