Deputies of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens initiated an amendment to the Constitutional Law of the PMR "On Citizenship of the PMR" in order to improve the legal regulation of the acquisition of Pridnestrovian citizenship by birth.
The law-in-draft on enshrining the institution of mentoring in the PMR was considered at a meeting of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Citizens in the first reading. Similar norms are in force in Russia. The interest of the mentor in sharing his experience will help young specialists to adapt faster to a new place.
The Committee on the agro-industrial complex at the meeting considered reports on the implementation of 7 state targeted programs in the field of agriculture, livestock, reclamation, forestry and equipment by transport of the fire department by transport.
The Committee on Legislation will submit several legislations to the plenary session for adoption in the second final reading. These are initiatives on toughening fines for committing a crime and posting a video of it on the Internet, on liability for drivers distracted by their phones, and on the impossibility of fining twice for the same violation on the roads.
Deputies propose to lower the age of administrative liability for a number of offenses from 16 to 14 years. The law-in-draft is based on an initiative that took second place in the #ВПраве competition, organized by the Civil Initiative public movement with the support of the Supreme Council and the Human Rights Center of the Union of Russian Communities of Pridnestrovie.
