Land issues must be resolved in fairness and on the basis of the Law. Such verdict was taken after a four-hour meeting by members of the advisory meeting of the first Pridnestrovian deputies under the Chairman of the Supreme Council. The representative office was very impressive - the head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Belous, the Deputy Prime Minister Stanislav Kasap, the Prosecutor of Pridnestrovie Anatoly Guretsky, the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Efimy Koval, the chairman of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) parliamentary faction Petr Pasat, the Chairman of the Arbitration Court Alexander Kiyko, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Vladimir Rymar.
The talk during the meeting of the founders of the republic was about the vicious practice of the former head of the republic Yevgeny Shevchuk to seize land from some land users and transfer it to others, especially close to the highest official.
Introductory information about the situation was presented to colleagues by the deputy of the Supreme Council of the five convocations Anatoliy Belitchenko.
With the change of power, in January 2017, an interdepartmental government commission was set up to determine the ways and mechanisms for resolving this particularly acute social problem. The public, including the Pridnestrovian People's Forum, suggested that the newly elected head of state abolish the decrees of his predecessor on the ground. However, representatives of government bodies (government, courts, prosecutor) considered that those who had been robbed of the land should themselves apply to the courts for the protection of their interests. And such a view prevailed - those who supposed that their constitutional right to use land had been violated had to apply to the judiciary in the manner prescribed by law. The last word is for the court.
The idea of solving this problem on the basis of the law sounded in speeches of the republic's prosecutor Anatoly Guretsky, the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Efimy Koval.
According to the Chairman of the Court of Arbitration Alexander Kiyko, 9 entrepreneurs have applied to this judicial authority concerning the violated land rights. The lawsuits continue to arrive. The judiciary tries to deal promptly with cases, understanding that the land should be used. After the court decision, the disputed land plots are transferred to the state redistribution fund and only then final decisions are made on them regarding who will use it in the future.
Members of the same assembly meeting are convinced that the land should first be received by those from whom it was seized in the previous five years. This is one of the main recommendations to the state authorities, which was reflected in the adopted document at the conclusion of the meeting of the advisory meeting of the first Pridnestrovian deputies under the Chairman of the Supreme Council.
