The Citizens Health is Priority Direction of State Policy

Solemn meeting was held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Ministry of Health in the Palace of the Republic. They mentioned at the celebration: creation of Pridnestrovian health care system took place not in a simple for the republic period. Health care  employees of Pridnestrovie during the armed aggression of Moldova in early 1990 demonstrated professionalism and dedication, helping the wounded. Today, over 11 thousand employees, about 2 thousand doctors and more than 4 thousand employees of nursing care of which are employed in the country's health system. Over 25 years of multi-functional health care system has been created in the republic, able to provide medical assistance at a high level.

Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy Sergey Cheban congratulated medical workers on behalf of the Supreme Council. The parliamentarian wished the health workers success in work, good health, optimism and well-being. The Deputy read a welcome address on behalf of the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba.
