Today's meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council began with a minute of silence in memory of those killed in the terrorist attack in the Moscow region. The largest terrorist act in the last 20 years was committed in Russia on March 22. The attack took place at the Crocus City Hall concert hall at about 20:00 Moscow time. Four people broke into the building, started shooting people at point-blank range, and set fires in several places. 139 people were killed as of March 26. A native of Bendery Kristina Kostyuchenko was among them.

The parliamentarians during the meeting of the Presidium supplemented the agenda of the plenary session, which will be held tomorrow, March 27. The deputy corps will hear information on the results of the activities of the PMR Supreme Court for 2023. The report will be presented by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Adrian Penkovsky.

Members of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic have determined the date of the next plenary meeting. It will take place on April 3. The deputy corps will consider the relevant issues of the parliamentary Committee on Education, public associations and the media. Parliamentarians will discuss amendments to the Law of the PMR "On Preschool Education" in the first reading. it is proposed at the level of the law to consolidate the norms that will determine how kindergarten graduates will be able to continue attending preschool until the end of the summer. Law-in-draft on amendments and additions to the Law of the PMR "On Education" has been prepared for consideration in the second final reading, which proposes to prohibit schoolchildren from using phones during lessons.

The agenda of the plenary meeting next week includes issues of the Committee on Agriculture, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources. Law-in-draft on amendments and additions to the Law of the PMR "On compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners" is among them. The author of the legislative initiative is the Prosecutor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. It is proposed to oblige car insurers to notify the victim in writing that he has been denied insurance payment due to the non-occurrence of an insured event. The law-in-draft has been prepared for adoption in the second final reading. The final decision will be made by the deputies at the plenary session.
