The Government initiated amendments to the law “On licensing of certain types of activities”. It is proposed that organizations providing intermediary employment services for Pridnestrovians outside the republic receive licenses. In the course of the plenary session, examples were given when the work of such recruitment agencies promising legal support for work abroad and decent earnings, in fact, turned out to be a fraud, violation of the legitimate rights and interests of our citizens. According to the authors of the initiative, the reliability of information on possible earnings in other countries posted on the Internet and in print media today is not guaranteed. Voters and Government officials talk about the problem.
The Government official said that there are plenty of vacancies in our employment centers today.
Radion Chebotar considers that recruitment processes for working abroad should be regulated.
All who took part in the discussion of this issue recognized the existence of this acute social problem and the need for its solution. At the same time, a number of deputies believe that increasing the requirements for such personnel organizations will complicate the situation of citizens themselves who are looking for work abroad.
The majority of deputies, 23 parliamentarians, voted in favor of the law-in-draft. They consider that the state should regulate this area of activity in order to protect Pridnestrovians from unscrupulous intermediaries engaged in hiring people to work abroad.
Along with this, the improvement of the norms of the law “On licensing of certain types of activities” will make it possible to control the migration of labor resources with a view to making further administrative decisions by state authorities. The law-in-draft was adopted in plenary in the first reading.
