The deputy corps unanimously adopted amendments to the law "On fisheries and conservation of aquatic biological resources of the PMR". This is a legislative initiative of deputies Oleg Leontyev and Ivan Nedelkov.
Under current law, the Dniester River and other can be rented out for commercial fishing. There is currently prohibition on such fishing. Its action comes to an end in June of this year.
In neighboring states, there is also a ban on industrial fishing. However, there is a temporary limitation, which is extended after a certain period.
The law-in-draft adopted today by the Supreme Council provides that the ban on industrial fishing from the Dniester River will be in force in our republic.
