Procurement for the needs of the state in a new way

29.11.2018

The President Vadim Krasnoselsky signed the law “On Procurement in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”. The work on it was long and intense. Parliamentarians Mikhail Burla, Victor Guzun, Vadim Doni, Grigory Dyachenko, Vadim Kravchuk, Sergey Cheban are the authors of the new basic law-in-draft. They proposed a fundamentally new approach to spending budget funds for public procurement. It consists in maximum transparency and clarity of procurement procedures for the needs of the state. The main principle is the efficient and rational use of budget funds. Despite the fact that the President vetoed adopted in the summer the law, the result of the joint work of the conciliation commission established after this was the achievement of a compromise.

The signed law will take effect from the new year. By January 1, 2019, the government is ordered to: develop regulatory legal acts that ensure the functioning of this law, put into operation the official website for publishing information on procurement, and create a single auction center. The next year is given to prepare for the procurement through auctions exclusively using their electronic form.
