The Legislative Plans for March

The agenda of the upcoming spring plenary introduced a number of legislations, aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses. Among them there are amendments to the law "On the individual entrepreneur's patent", aimed at creating favorable conditions for the formation of new small businesses. The law-in- draft proposed to establish a preferential order of work for a patent owner who previously had the status of "unemployed". They plan to reduce the fee for a patent: 100 per cent for the first six calendar months of the self-employment and 50 per cent - over the next 6 months. Chairman of the Committee on Business Development and Industry Viktor Guzun called the initiative socially oriented and informed colleagues that the committee proposes to adopt it in the second and final reading.

As of October 1, 2016 the number of registered citizens who are not engaged in employment, is 4137 people. More than 3 million of these people are unemployed.

The regime of legislative emergency to the Parliament a Law-in-draft of Vadim Krasnoselsky "On amendments and addendum to some laws of PMR", providing material support to the provision of social participants of the Great Patriotic War and other persons equated to them. To date, as explained by the head of the Committee on Social Policy Sergey Cheban, taking into account the home front there are more than 1200 people. We need clear financial and economic feasibility to implement the initiative. The Supreme Council has not received the document yet.

The agenda of tomorrow's plenary session includes the law-in-draft.

Speaking about plans for March, Alexander Shcherba said that deputies are tasked to consider and adopt the law - the national budget for 2017. Just recently, the legislature of the republic received revised by the government document. There is not much time to work on it in the Parliament - until April 1 the document should be adopted and sent for signature to the President.

Regular plenary meetings of the Supreme Council are scheduled for 15 and 29 March.
