Parliamentarians returned to the draft law "On the legal, institutional and policy framework for negotiations with the Republic of Moldova" at the insistence of a number of non-governmental organizations and members of the Consultative Assembly of First Pridnestrovian deputies. The initiative was developed by a group of deputies of the previous convocation, but today not only has not lost its relevance, but also acquired a new meaning in the light of the resumption of negotiations in the "5 + 2" format. The new for legal framework of the republic document includes seven articles, which enshrine legal, organizational, political and other bases of reference of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian negotiations process aimed at normalization of bilateral relations in the interests of the peoples of both countries and the protection of the sovereignty and independence of Pridnestrovie by diplomatic means. Its goals and principles were spelled out. "Guarantor", "mediator" and "observer" were determined. Aspects related to the intersection of the concepts of "negotiations" and "peacekeeping operation" were concretized.
Only government conclusions of the eight official has a negative character. In addition, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaliy Ignatiev notified the Supreme Council in writing that the Foreign Ministry sees no prerequisites for taking this initiative. Since there was no one to ask qustions in this respect, Parliamentarians voted for the adoption of the law-in-draft draft "On the legal, institutional and policy framework for negotiations with the Republic of Moldova" in the first reading.
