Deputies considered the draft decree of the Supreme Council concerning the cancellation of the decision of the 4th session of the Council XXV convocation of people's deputies of the Slobodzeya district and the city of Slobodzeya on March 3, 2016 during the plenary session. Consideration of this issue was initiated by local deputies who did not agree with the decision of the Council of Slobodzeya to recall a member of the Central Election Commission Galina Shlenskova.

According to the regulations of the Constitution and the Rules of the Supreme Council, the parliament has the right to evaluate the acts of local Councils of People's Deputies of the Regulatory Compliance and cancel them in case of illegality.

Petition of deputies group of the Slobodzeya council to cancel the decision was considered in detail by the Committee on Legislation of Parliament, held its legal expertise. During the meeting of the profile committee, held on the eve of the plenary session, said that the composition of the Central Election Commission consists of 21 people. Seven members are appointed by the President, Parliament and one from each town and district council. The term of tenure of the CEC - is five years. The legislation spelled out procedure for the dissolution of the Central Election Commission on the basis of a court decision.

Responsible Committee concluded that the Council of People's deputies of the Slobodzeya district and the city of Slobodzeya in the decision violated provisions prescribed by law "On local government, public administration in Pridnestrovie" and Electoral Code.

Deputies during the plenary session unanimously voted to abolish decision, adopted 3 March by Slobodzeya town and district council to recall a member of the Central Election Commission Galina Shlenskova.
