The law on measures of state support during the state of emergency entered into force

13.04.2020

The Law on State Support during the State of Emergency 2020, adopted by the Supreme Council on April 8, entered into force. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky signed it at the end of last week. The document provides for the support of enterprises and citizens of the republic.

Zero income tax rate has been set for those who work in enterprises. Enterprises that provide housing services will not disconnect the consumer from this service due to late payment. In case of late payment of utility bills, penalties will not be charged. Poor citizens whose children received free meals at school and kindergarten will be able to get food packages. Another measure of support concerns citizens who were unemployed during the state of emergency and were registered with the employment center. If their status has come to an end during this period, they will continue to receive benefits until the end of the state of emergency.

All patent payments to individual entrepreneurs will be recalculated. Individual entrepreneurs who have come under the state of emergency can apply to the employment center for registration. They are entitled to unemployment benefits.
