The Targets for the Future

Members of the Presidium of Parliament adopted the agenda of the forthcoming plenary sessions. Deputy corps returns to the improvement of the legal framework governing the question of guarantees to senior officials (President, Vice-President, Chairman of the Supreme Council), ceased to exercise powers, as well as their family members. The legislative basis includes two alternative legislations. Deputies Alexander Korshunov and Oleg Vasilaty prepared a law-in-draft on amendments to the law and parliamentarian Oleg Khorzhan prepared a new law-in-draft. Having discussed the two document, proposed by the deputies, members of the parliamentary Committee on Legislation, Defense, Security, Peacekeeping, Law Enforcement, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens recommended the deputies to adopt the law-in-draft of Vasilaty Korshunov.

Legislative initiative of Galina Antyufeeva among considered at the meeting of the Supreme Council Presidium of the issues for the citizens will be especially interesting vehicles’ owners. It is aimed at making changes and additions to the Code of Administrative Offences. The essence of the proposal is as follows: if violated traffic rules (SDA), a citizen found a violation and paid the administrative penalty within 10 days, then its size is reduced by 50%.

The initiative of Deputy Oleg Vasilaty "On the representative bodies of state power and local self-government" is a novelty in the legislative environment. The document is supposed to be created as a unified system of regulation mechanisms of representative bodies of state power.

The parliament will consider at today's plenary session a resolution of the Supreme Council, concerning the adoption of the deputies of the Slobodzeya town and district councils at the 4th session of the decision on withdrawal of one of the members of the CEC, previously delegated to the deputies of the previous convocation of the Council. As a result of the meeting held on the eve its responsible committee members were encouraged to reverse the decision of the deputies of the Slobodzeya colleagues.

The next plenary meeting of the Supreme Council is scheduled for March 16th.
