The tasks waiting for decision

Deputies of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction considered the current issues of the agenda of the plenary session scheduled today. Among the legislations – there are amendments to the laws "On Currency Regulation and Currency Control", "On budget system in PMR". We are talking, in particular, about the extension until December 1, the possibility of the government to the Supreme Council of the draft national budget for next year in the second document. This suggests the need of financial document consideration by the deputies in a short time. Deputies in the course of the fractional meeting emphasized the current legislation, which state the need to provide a draft budget before September 10. Despite the fact that regime law-in-draft awaits consideration in the first reading, Supreme Council has not received the draft budget for next year. The head of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction Peter Pasat mentioned the consideration by their colleagues from the Russian Federation amendments, according to which the draft budget for one year should be given to the State Duma for the period until 25 October.

Another law-in-draft also requires quick decision-making regarding the national budget for 2015 and the following two years. The document we are talking about the redistribution of the Road Fund to finance the renovation of the roadway and infrastructure industry.

As for the source of replenishment of the budget, the Supreme Council considered the initiative of deputies of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov on the levying of excise duty on tobacco manufacturers. In the course of the meeting of the faction it was stated on registered two such firms in the republic. The Deputies supported the colleagues’ proposal decided to recommend the adoption of the document in two readings. This is due to the necessity of the entry into force of the law three months before the start of the next fiscal year.

There is a number of draft resolutions of the Supreme Council concerning the amendments to the previously adopted a resolution "On approval of the scheme of education and boundaries of electoral districts for the election of deputies of the Supreme Council of PMR of the sixth convocation" in the agenda of the plenary session. Members of the faction supported the need for changes.

At the end of the meeting of the faction Parliament Speaker Mikhail Burla focused on the absence of a quorum of colleagues on the planned September 16 plenary session. Chairman of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction Peter Pasat said that the members of the faction were presented in full strength at the meeting.
