Yunis Rahimov, "Deputies are always ready to solve our problems"

Bendery plant "Moldavkabel" is the only representative of the cable industry in the republic. It produces cable products for the largest enterprises of the energy, construction, transport and communications industries, selling goods in Europe, as well as in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan. The enterprise has been a regular laureate of the contest "Pridnestrovie Quality" since 2005, the products of the plant receive the highest evaluation of the jury every year. The head of the Bendery plant, Yunis Rahimov, told what difficulties the company had to face in the last five years. During this period, sales volumes were significantly reduced. This was influenced by the introduction of the import substitution program in Russia, but inside the country there were not the most favorable conditions for the work of the enterprise: it was a man-made currency crisis, and unreasonably inflated taxes.

In all, the company employs 285 people. "We are not a burden to the state", emphasizes the director, noting that, despite all the difficulties, employees regularly receive a salary, and the treasury - tax deductions. The head of the enterprise repeatedly appealed to the former leadership of the republic with a request to provide support, but without effect.

The director of the Moldavkabel plant was supported by the deputies of the Supreme Council. The appeal to Alexander Martynov who was a deputy, as well as to the parliamentarians representing the interests of the residents of Bendery in the legislative body of the republic, to Aleksandr Korshunov, Anton Onufrienko and Sergei Pisarenko, made it possible to change the situation in the industry. December of last year, the deputy corps adopted a number of amendments to the Law of PMR "On the Tax on Organizations' Income", according to which the income tax rate for cable industry enterprises was reduced. Such a support measure has already brought its results - the plant has won several tenders for the supply of products abroad. The head of the enterprise "Moldavkabel" addressed the parliamentarians with gratitude for the rendered assistance.

The Supreme Council consider: the support of enterprises is an important social task, which must be solved jointly by the authorities. The new leadership of the country is interested in the development of domestic production. It is already known that SUE "Unique distribution system" is ready to support the domestic producer and buy the products of the plant "Moldavkabel". Earlier, a Romanian cable was purchased for cable networks.
