Anniversary medals to the founders of the republic

Deputies of the Supreme Council presented medals for the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War to the founders of the republic. Commemorative awards - to the deputies of the Provisional Supreme Council, I and II convocations of the Pridnestrovian parliament.

The Parliament Vice-Speaker Galina Antyufeyeva presented the anniversary medal “75 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945” to the first President of the PMR, the Head of the advisory meeting of the first Pridnestrovian deputies under the Chairman of the Supreme Council Igor Smirnov.

Words of gratitude to the first deputies were addressed by parliamentarian Mikhail Burla. As the deputy of the Supreme Council noted, during the creation of Pridnestrovie, risking their lives, they made it possible to live in an individual state.

Congratulating the Pridnestrovians on Victory Day, the parliamentarian named May 9 the main holiday in the history of mankind. The Victory brought peace and the opportunity to build, added Mikhail Burla. On the festive day, he wished Pridnestrovian health and well-being in their families.

Three veterans of the Great Patriotic War live in Bendery at the constituency of Deputy Yuri Kravchuk. Congratulations and a mini-concert prepared by the creative teams of the city. Artists in military form performed songs of the war years for veterans.

Deputy of the Supreme Council of the II convocation, chairman of the Women's Union of Bendery Angelina Ivanovna Ogli lives in the district of Yuri Kravchuk. She stood at the origins of the creation of our republic. Today Angelina Ivanovna was awarded the jubilee medal for the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Deputy of the Supreme Council Yuri Kravchuk noted that the experience of people like Angelina Ivanovna Ogli is invaluable. The current generation will always be grateful to these people for courage, steadfastness and love for their Motherland.

The jubilee medals for the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory were awarded to 35 deputies of the first convocations of the PMR Supreme Council.
