Anniversary in the Year of Health

The Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports at the Pridnestrovian State University was opened on January 1, 2000. For the past 20 years, the faculty has been making a significant contribution to the formation of the faculty. Students are trained by 80 highly qualified teachers, including honored workers of public education, masters of sports, honored trainers.

Teachers, students and graduates of the faculty were congratulated by the Head of the parliamentary committee on public associations, sports, information and youth policy Igor Buga. The Deputy handed over the welcome address of the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Alexander Korshunov.

Alexander Korshunov in the welcoming address expressed confidence that the high professional level of the teaching staff and the created educational base will continue to be a solid foundation for effective work in the formation of high-class athletes, coaches, and physical education teachers.

As part of the celebration of the anniversary of the faculty, a number of teachers were awarded state awards.
