Anniversary of the music school in Dubossary

The Music School named after Murgu in Dubossary celebrated its 70th anniversary. Teachers, numerous graduates of the school, students and their parents, and fans of musical art gathered the anniversary evening in the hall of the Palace of Children's and Youthful Creativity.

The head of the state administration of the Dubossary district and the city of Dubossary Ruslan Chaban presented state awards and certificates of Dubossary state administration to a number of teachers of the music school.

Boris German, Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for constituency No. 11 "Central", congratulated the students and teachers of the school on their 70th anniversary On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Boris German thanked the teachers for their work, read out a congratulatory address on behalf of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and presented the teachers with letters of gratitude from the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov.

Irina Vladimirova wished the school a long creative path and handed over a welcoming address and a gift from the Chairman of the Republican political party "Obnovlenie", Vice-Speaker of the Parliament Galina Antyufeeva.

The school has been headed by Vasily Mikhailovsky for 20 years. The music school has trained about 4 thousand students over 70 years. 300 children from the city and the district study currently at the Dubossary Music School, there are 3 choirs, an orchestra of Moldovan folk instruments, an orchestra of wind instruments, a pop orchestra, an orchestra of guitarists, a Dixieland ensemble, vocal ensembles, and a preparatory class. The school has 6 departments: piano, strings, folk department, wind and percussion instruments department, vocal and choral, theoretical, and preparatory class. There are 35 teachers, 31 of whom are school graduates.

The school staff celebrated its anniversary with wonderful music performed by young musicians and school graduates who have achieved heights in the music world.
