The XI Assembly of the Russkiy Mir

Working meetings and discussions were held on the eve of the openings ceremony of the 11th Assembly of Russkiy Mir (Russian World) at the Nizhny Novgorod University named after N.I. Lobachevsky. The topic of the discussion platform is "Projects of the Russkiy Mir in Russian Schools Abroad". The meeting of teachers of the Russian language of foreign schools was devoted to the exchange of experience and the presentation of new projects aimed at creating a modern, both comfortable and exciting educational environment for both students and teachers. Presentation of the teaching aids issued with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation was held.

The first discussion at the 11th Assembly of the Russian World was devoted to the search for ideas that Russia can now offer to the world. The speaker of the Pridnestrovian parliament Alexander Shcherba took part in its work. The moderator of the discussion, the chairman of the State Duma Committee for Education and Science, the chairman of the board of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Vyacheslav Nikonov started with the fact that he noted the devaluation of many previously working ideas in the society. So, democracy today is already the management of not the people, but of the elite, which is an ally of the United States. Populism, in turn, is what is opposed to global internationalism.

This campaign was also affected by the fund itself: as is known, the European Parliament included it in the list of "most subversive organizations" along with the agency Sputnik and the RT channel.

After that the floor was taken by a political analyst from Israel Avigdor Eskin, a constant participant of the discussion sites of the Russkiy Mir. Developing the thesis of the Russian idea, he recalled the words of Seraphim of Sarov, said exactly on Nizhny Novgorod land: "Then the evil will not spread."

The great friend of the Russkiy Mir Foundation and from this year the honorary professor of the Moscow State University Prince Alexander Alexandrovich Trubetskoy spoke about the world russophobia.

Metropolitan Kornily thanked for the opportunity to congratulate the participants of the Assembly on the upcoming holidays - the icons of Kazan Mother of God and the Day of National Unity.

The chairman of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Alexander Scherba, agrees that if Russia points out a new idea today, the world will be able to change. And first of all, it will be a multinational and spiritual world.

Summing up the discussion, Vyacheslav Nikonov noted that the anchor is universal values. This is the idea of ​​justice as the truth of life, this is the idea of ​​freedom, not in a liberal-globalistic spirit, but as freedom of self-development for all. The main thing is the idea of ​​peace and life.
