The deputies examined the draft resolutions of the Supreme Council on the approval of the editors-in-chief of state media, the founders of which are the Supreme Council and the Government. Candidatures of future editors-in-chief were presented by the head of the State Media Service Lydia Kolodka. Earlier, the deputies of the parliamentary committee on public associations, sports, information and youth policy spoke in support of candidates. During today's plenary session, the Supreme Council approved the editors-in-chief of state media. The editorial office of the First Pridnestrovian television channel will be headed by Viktor Savchenko, who has worked since 2006 at the TV channel "TSV", which is the author and host of "The Reflection" program. Svetlana Kupruzhanova, the editor-in-chief of Radio 1, was appointed from the correspondent to the editor of this media. In the post of editor-in-chief of “The Gomin”republican newspaper was approved Alexander Yushin, who held this position since 2015. Head of “The Adevarul Nistryan” newspaper will continue to work with Sergey Sandu, who has been working in the publication for 16 years. Alexander Karasev, a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR and the PMR, who previously headed the Tiraspol College of Commerce, was appointed editor-in-chief of “The Pridnestrovie” republican newspaper. Congratulating the appointed media leaders, Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Shcherba expressed hope that the editors will be able to raise the activity of state media to a high level.
