Interaction in the field of education

Dialogue with the Assistant Rector for Academic Affairs, Russian Academy of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Tamara Salnikova, except for the Speaker of Parliament, was attended by the deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Sergey Cheban and Deputy Ilona Tyuryaeva. The representative of the Russian university visited Pridnestrovie for the first time, but close mutually beneficial cooperation in the sphere of education between PMR and Russia has been going on not for the first decade.

Tamara Salnikova noted that in the course of the meeting with Pridnestrovian legislators that the purpose of her visit - is to acquaint Pridnestrovians with the terms of income and education in this prestigious university. She said that the Academy is already attended by two students from Pridnestrovie, the quota for the next year is expected to increase in the current academic year.

In the course of the meeting, Tamara Salnikova presented video presentation about high school, which has a high rating in Russia. History of the Academy of Foreign Trade, of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia that trains highly qualified specialists in the sphere of foreign activity and foreign trade, has already been 85 years old. More than 3 thousand students study in alma mater in five faculties, 20 departments, six of which are taught 7 foreign languages. Training is conducted in three areas - "Economy", "Jurisprudence" and "Management". Since 2011, it has two levels: the graduates of the Academy awarded a bachelor's degree and master's degree with in-depth study of at least two foreign languages. Students' family include natives of the country and abroad, including from the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Hungary, South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie. Training, exchange of students is on the basis of the university.

Among the graduates there are many prominent politicians, including the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, the former Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov etc. licentiates of authoritative Russian university successfully build a career in the Russian ministries and departments, embassies and trade missions of the Russian Federation abroad, large foreign companies and firms.

The speaker of parliament, Head Department of Economic Geography and Regional Economics natural-geographical faculty of PSU, Ph.D., Associate Professor Mikhail Burla said in the course of the meeting on Russian educational standards and training programs used in Pridnestrovie, work of the republic in uniform educational space. He drew special attention to the functioning of the Higher School of PMR, as well as the work of branches of Russian and Ukrainian universities.
