Interaction of the State and Private Business

The Concept for Development of Public-Private Partnership was developed and the Law "On Public-Private Partnership" was adopted in Pridnestrovie 6 years ago. The document regulates the interaction of the public and private sectors of the economy in the course of joint work on socially significant projects. Such projects can be implemented in the sphere of housing and communal services and road infrastructure, in the development of infrastructure in towns and districts of the republic. However, the law has not yet been implemented. According to the Government this is due to the fact that the conditions for the participation of private business in the implementation of joint projects with the state are not attractive enough.

Amendments and additions have been made to the law, which will make the mandatory terms of the public-private partnership agreement more liberal. The Supreme Council adopted the law-in-draft in the final reading.
