The interaction will continue

The Parliament Speaker Alexander Korshunov met with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the PMR Alexander Wataman and the Head of the Official Representation of the Republic of South Ossetia in the PMR Vitaly Yankovsky. A dialogue in this format is traditionally held at the beginning of the year. The parties summed up the results of cooperation in 2019 and determined plans for joint cooperation for the current year.

Representatives of friendly republics expressed gratitude to the deputies for their assistance in resolving many issues that are being discussed at the inter-parliamentary level.

Pridnestrovie, Abkhazia and South Ossetia share a common history. The dialogue participants discussed the implementation of projects in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.

The Parliament Speaker expressed confidence that relations between the republics will develop in the future.

In South Ossetia this year, a children's drawing contest will be held to celebrate the anniversary of the Great Victory.

According to the Speaker Alexander Korshunov, Pridnestrovie can join in the implementation of this project. He is convinced: joint projects will be aimed at the development of our states.

Officials of the two republics noted that delegations from South Ossetia and Abkhazia plan to take part in the anniversary events that will be held in Pridnestrovie. This year, the 30th anniversary of the founding will also be celebrated by South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
