The Law “On Amendments to the Law of the PMR “On Additional Measures to Stabilize the Economy of the PMR”, signed by Vadim Krasnoselsky was published at the official website of the President. The document reflects the next measures of state support provided to sewing and shoe enterprises. They reduced the tax burden by reducing the ratio from 1.7 to 1.05 when working with the customer-supplied raw materials. At the same time, the average annual increase in the average wage of the main production workers (seamstresses and workers directly involved in the production of footwear) must be at least 7% annually. Legislative changes are aimed at preserving the skilled labor resources of the sewing and shoe industries, attracting new workers to them against the background of acute shortage of personnel and increase in the level of labor migration. The period covered by the state support of domestic manufacturers working in the clothing and footwear industry is three years, from 2019 to 2021 inclusive. The norms of the law adopted by the Supreme Council and signed by the President extend to legal relations arising from January 1, 2019.

To simplify the procedure for declaring certain types of vehicles imported into the customs territory of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic by paying individuals vignettes and moving across the border, the amendments to the Customs Code and the Law On Road Fund signed by the republic leader have been sent. The new law expands the list of vehicles in respect of which the collection-vignette fee can be applied. First, it is a vehicle designed to carry 10 people or more, including a driver. Second, passenger and other motor vehicles intended primarily for transporting people, including cargo-passenger vans and racing cars. Third, motorcycles (including mopeds) and bicycles with auxiliary engine installed, with or without sidecars, strollers. A fee includes a customs transaction fee, partial payment of customs duty, fee for entry and passage by the PMR roads. Enacted legislative changes will ease tensions at customs checkpoints, will increase the number of imported vehicles and increase budget revenues.

The President signed the law “On Amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure”. Its norms simplify the procedure for collecting arrears in payment for housing and utilities, as well as mandatory payments and contributions of homeowners partnership, housing complex (housing cooperative) and housing cooperative (housing cooperative). Now these payments will be charged by the court in court proceedings.
