The Second Quarter: the results of the Parliament Activities

The Supreme Council received 79 legislative initiatives from subjects of law of legislative initiative during the second quarter of the current year.

10 plenary meetings and 15 meetings of the Presidium of the legislature were held during this period. 175 resolutions of the Supreme Council were adopted and executed.

44 Laws of PMR were adopted by the Supreme Council, signed by the President and officially published. Among them there is one new constituent act, previously not available in the legal environment of the Republic, - the law "On perpetuation of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945".

Authors of the legislative initiatives have withdrawn 15 of legislative initiatives from deputies consideration.

27 legislations has been rejected by the Supreme Council over the past period.

308 people appealed through the department of reception and appeals of citizens of the Supreme Council: including160 to the address of the members of the Supreme Council; 19 persons have not left written complaints.

The leadership of the Supreme Council sent 155 orders and considered 91 written requests, registered by department of reception and appeals of citizens. 139 of them were sent to parliamentary committees and to deputies, 16 to agencies and departments of PMR. 60 responses were sent to the address of applicants during this period.

Chairman of the Supreme Council and his deputies held 9 receptions, during which 23 people were received.

The Committee of the Supreme Council held committee meetings and considered the complaints of citizens during the reporting period.
