Pridnestrovian delegation led by Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov has been in Moscow since the beginning of this week. A number of meetings were held with Russian colleagues in the State Duma and Rossotrudnichestvo. The topic of resuming the work of the outgoing consular service point of the Russian Embassy in Tiraspol was raised at all venues. Chairman of the Supreme Council noted in a comment to the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel that the consular point will soon return to the pre-quarantine mode of operation. Applications for the replacement of passports are accepted exclusively for children under 14 years old and consular services are provided at the moment.

The Parliament Speaker added that the issue of raising the qualifications of Pridnestrovian teachers was raised, and Rossotrudnichestvo will provide support in this regard. Meeting was held with compatriots living in Russia including students at the site of the Russky Mir. Alexander Korshunov told the youth about the changes in the Pridnestrovian legislation aimed at developing the economy, social policy, increasing jobs and supporting young people, including in purchasing their own housing.

Speaking about interregional cooperation, Alexander Korshunov emphasized the need for interaction in the field of economics, social policy, culture, art and sports.
