Meetings in Abkhazia

Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov met with President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khadjimba, the Representative Office of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie reports. The speaker of the Pridnestrovian parliament conveyed congratulations from the PMR President to the head of the republic, emphasizing that Vadim Krasnoselsky is very kind to the relationship between Abkhazia and Representative.

The President of Abkhazia thanked the guest for participating in the inauguration. Raul Khadjimba emphasized the importance of strengthening and developing cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Human Rights Ombudsmen in Pridnestrovie and Abkhazia Vyacheslav Kosinsky and Asida Shakryl signed a memorandum of cooperation, which supplements the document signed by the Ombudsmen in 2008.

Asida Shakryl expressed the hope that close constructive relationships will help strengthen the mechanisms for protecting human rights.
