The sample of courage and heroism

Today Pridnestrovie celebrate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the territory of the republic from Nazi invaders. The commemorative events are attended by the Russian delegation, headed by the confident of the President of the Russian Federation, a member of the Public Chamber of Russia, the chairman of the Foundation for the Study of Historical Perspective Natalia Narochnitskaya. At the initiative of the Russian guests, the meeting with veterans of the Great Patriotic War took place. The main heroes of the celebration were Ivan Vasilievich Nikolaev - Honorary Chairman of the Council of Veterans of War, Labor and Armed Forces of Tiraspol, Dmitry Nikitovich Sprinchan - participant of the Iasi-Kishinev operation, Igor Rostislavovich Ilyin - participant of the operation "Normandy-Neman", Vladimir Ivanovich Gromov and Mikhail Vasilyevich Kislitsky - veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

The Russian guest handed medals on behalf of the Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Chairman of the Council of the National Association of Associations of Reserve Officers of the Armed Forces, Colonel Alexander Kanshin and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Associations of Reserve Officers of the Armed Forces, the President of the Foundation for Support of Reserve Officers of the Armed Forces “Officer Brotherhood” Colonel General Vladimir Zaritsky.

The discussion was attended by young people. Representatives of different generations talked about the war, the price of human life and love for the motherland. According to the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva, it is important that young people have a sense of respect for those who brought peace.

Words of gratitude sounded on behalf of the youth of the republic. According to the young people, the feat of war veterans is an example of courage, heroism and love for the motherland. Now their task is to pass on the memory of the war to future generations.
