The Russian-Pridnestrovian dialogue continues

A Russian delegation arrived in Pridnestrovie. The Supreme Council was visited by the Mayor of the City of Kaliningrad Alexey Silanov and the candidate for the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexander Yaroshuk. Alexey Silanov is well acquainted with the inhabitants of our republic. Since 2016, after the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, he represented the interests of the residents of the Dubossary district and Dnestrovsk in the lower house of the Russian parliament. As a deputy, he repeatedly came to Pridnestrovie with working visits, met with voters. Alexey Silanov voiced questions concerning the Pridnestrovians at meetings with the top Russian leadership. Thus, many problems were solved. In April this year, he had to prematurely terminate his deputy powers in connection with the transition to an executive authority.

Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeeva thanked Alexey Silanov for the done work, as well as for his caring attitude towards the Pridnestrovians. The Vice-Speaker emphasized: the mechanism of interaction of Russian legislators with voters living in Pridnestrovie proved its effectiveness. This practice needs to be continued.

Currently, there are 6 candidates registered in the single-mandate electoral district No. 98, actively participating in the pre-election. One of them- is Alexander Yaroshuk, the predecessor of Alexei Silanov as the head of Kaliningrad. He held this position for 11 years. He says that this experience will help in solving the problems of our republic. He decided to personally visit the republic to find out about the problems of citizens. The candidate for deputies noted that our republic pleased him in the first place with the cleanliness of the streets and the absence of traffic jams.

The candidate for deputies promised to take control of the resumption of construction in the Republic of 5 social facilities, the modernization of public transport and other problems.

On September 9, Pridnestrovians - Russian citizens will be able to choose their representative to the State Duma. As it was emphasized more than once today, the constitutional right of Russian citizens must be realized regardless of their place of residence.
