Meeting with community members in Rybnitsa

19.05.2023

The President met with the leadership of the district and rural administrations, deputies of all levels and social activists in Rybnitsa. The parliamentarians voiced their questions.

The first question was asked by Andrey Safonov, Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for constituency Number 15 Kirovsky. The parliamentarian asked the PMR President about the course of the negotiation process, the situation around Pridnestrovie and on its borders, as well as issues of ensuring the safety of citizens.

The President called the current situation in Pridnestrovie and around its borders calm and controlled. Accumulations of military equipment sufficient for aggression against our republic are not observed. Vadim Krasnoselsky urged to trust only trusted sources of information, not to panic and not to react to possible provocations, including those that appear on the global network. As for the ammunition depots in the village of Kolbasna, Rybnitsa district, the President recalled that they are guarded by Russian servicemen. Pridnestrovian specialists provide assistance in ensuring general security. The President added that our republic is not a party to the conflict in connection with the situation in neighboring Ukraine. The peaceful position of Pridnestrovie has remained unchanged for many years. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that representatives of 72 nationalities and nationalities currently live in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, there are no and never have been conflicts on ethnic grounds in the republic.

Many questions were asked in the course of the meeting, which are relevant specifically for the settlements of the Rybnitsa region. Deputy of the district city council Igor Mikhailov told the President that despite the fact that almost 6.5 thousand school-age children now live in the district of Rybnitsa, the district still does not have its own health-improving summer camp. The nearest one is located in Dubossary district. They are not able to accept everyone there. They found a way out in Rybnitsa: almost every school has its own small day camps during the summer holidays, but this is not enough. The Deputy addressed the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic with a proposal to consider the possibility of building such a camp within the framework of the Capital Investment Fund in the next few years. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers that the initiative should come from the district authorities. First of all it is necessary to find a suitable place for the future camp and prepare estimates. The President is ready to support such an initiative.

They asked about the possibility of carrying out repair work in the village of Kolbasna. There is a problem with drinking water in the village, a well is needed. This issue will be discussed again in the course of the traditional video conference of the President with state authorities next Monday.

They asked for help with the restoration and installation of monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. So, after the liberation of the village of Butuchany in 1944, one of the villagers Vera Gritskul found a young tanker killed. She buried the nameless soldier in the village cemetery, looked after the grave all her life, and when she was dying, she asked to be buried next to it in 1972. The villagers are asking for help with the installation of a monument to the hero. The PMR President considers that the memory of this caring and lonely woman needs to be perpetuated.

Another problem, which Deputy of the PMR Supreme Council,Vadim Kravchuk told the President, concerned the premises for the regional Union of Defenders of Pridnestrovie. This public-patriotic organization has been located in the city center during 15 years, has opened its own museum and regularly holds various events. However, everything could change soon.

The parliamentarian asked for presidential assistance in transferring the building to the permanent use of this public organization so as not to re-register documents every year. The President will announce the final decision on this issue next Monday, in the course of the traditional video conference.

They talked about subsidies for young families and professionals for the purchase of housing at the meeting, discussed the development of the reclamation complex, the creation of a land cadastre, reducing the document flow and reducing the time for issuing various documents.
