Meeting with young people

Activists from Rybnitsa – schoolchildren, students and activists of the Rybnitsa of the Youth Renewal movement came to visit the Supreme Council. The young people are actively involved in volunteering, participating in patriotic events, in various projects both in Pridnestrovie and abroad. Young leaders wanted to know more about the legislature. They were given a tour. The young people visited the plenary meeting hall, where every week heads of government bodies exchange opinions and where laws are adopted. The youth got acquainted with a photo exhibition about the history of the Supreme Council, consisted of 7 convocations. The leadership of the parliament and deputies explained what committees and commissions work in the Supreme Council and how laws are adopted in the briefing room. Speaker Alexander Korshunov noted: this is not an easy task for deputies.

The dialogue was attended by two Rybnitsa students who had recently arrived from Sochi, where they participated in an international youth forum. They shared impressions.

Activists came from Sochi with ideas, for example, they plan to implement social projects in our republic, they want to develop the field of robotics and learn about artificial intelligence. The young people plan to participate more in various forums and rallies both in the republic and abroad.

The deputies emphasize: you must have not only character to become a leader, but also a large store of knowledge, the ability to work in a team and, most importantly, a desire to make life better in your native Pridnestrovie.

Schoolchildren and students proposed creating a platform under the Supreme Council where they could study how to become a leader, what qualities a leader should have and prepare to further effectively develop our state.

They talked in the course of the meeting about the work of the Youth Parliament, an advisory body under the Supreme Council. It was noted at the meeting that many ideas of young deputies regarding youth policy are being implemented and adopted as laws.

The results of the meeting with young people were commented on by Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council Galina Antyufeyeva.

The Renewal party will continue meetings in this format with active youth, noted Galina Antyufeyeva. The first were the the young people from Rybnitsa.

The youth laid flowers at the consular service point of the Russian Embassy in Tiraspol after the meeting in the Supreme Council. The activists brought lamps and toys with them. They observed a minute of silence in memory of those killed in the Crocus City Hall in Moscow region.
