The Colleagues Meeting

Delegation from the Russian Federation visited Pridnestrovian capital. The visit is organized within the framework of the continuation of established cooperation and business contacts with Russian officials, with whom two months ago met members of the Supreme Council of the delegation headed by Speaker Vadim Krasnoselsky in Moscow.

Deputy of the Supreme Council Andrei Mejinschi received members of the Russian delegation. Deputy of the Ivanovo City Council Maxim Shiganov and plenipotentiary representative of the Chechen Republic in the Central Federal District Ruslan Honarikov are in its structure. Representatives of the parties during the dialogue discussed the situation in our republic and in neighboring states. They also discussed the deepening socio-economic, political and cultural ties between Russia and Pridnestrovie. We should mention benevolent attitude of Russian visitors to the republic and its citizens. In particular, the deputy of Ivanovo city council Maxim Shiganov highlighted the activation of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Russia and Pridnestrovie. During the meeting, colleagues-deputies discussed actual issues of cooperation between Russia and Pridnestrovie. The participants also exchanged views on the current situation in Pridnestrovie, the ways of further development of the country, discussed the possibility of implementing a number of joint projects in various spheres.

The circle of interests of the participants was not limited to matters of a legislative nature. Parliamentarian Andrei Mejinschi is also the General Director of JSC "Tirotex" - the largest textile company in the region and the deputy Ivanovo city council Maxim Shiganov - one of the leaders of the textile companies in the city of Ivanovo. These suggestions were made on the organization of meetings with representatives of the textile industry of the Ivanovo region. Andrei Mejinschi expressed hope for continued cooperation between the two enterprises in the industry, which will be of common interests. Russian colleague handed the heads of the Ivanovo branch organizations invited to visit JSC "Tirotex" in order to exchange experiences.

In conclusion, Andrei Mejinschi thanked the guests for the visit, interest in our republic and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation, full of practical steps for the implementation of joint projects.
