The International Dialogue

The Supreme Council was visited by representatives of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova - Deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Mr. Martin and Political Adviser Julia Kozachenko. The host side party was presented by Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Development of Small and Medium Business and Industry Viktor Guzun. He said that foreign visitors were interested in the economic situation in Pridnestrovie and the influence of the devaluation of the national currencies of Russia and Ukraine. We also discussed the issue of Pridnestrovian export of goods to the markets of neighboring states and EU countries.

"It is important to diversify markets for economic agents of Pridnestrovie and for the state as a whole. The Russian, Ukrainian and European markets are important and interesting for us", - said Victor Guzun.

The parliamentarian emphasized that such meetings that allow exchange views are important and useful. They provide an opportunity to convey information about the Pridnestrovian reality without distortion and conjectures. International dialogues of this kind are significant both from political and economic point of view.

"In the course of meetings with foreign delegations, we can, for example, identify the problems faced by our businesses in product export. If we can minimize the administrative barriers, then our economy will have additional opportunities for development and, therefore, increase revenues,"- said the deputy.
