15.04.2025

They speak boldly and to the point. They argue reasonably. They dream – but through specific legal initiatives. This is how the participants of the final stage of the Republican research competition "#ВПраве", which took place in the plenary session hall of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, were remembered.

The third, final round brought together the most active ones. Those who are already trying to shape tomorrow's agenda through their own legislations. 12 legislations were submitted to the jury for consideration, covering a wide range of issues: from labor relations and taxation to family and administrative law.

The jury included Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council, Chairman of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms Galina Antyufeeva, Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare Sergey Cheban and Head of the Department of the Committee on Legislation, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms Kristina Li.

The competition was organized by the "Civil Initiative" public movement with the support of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Pridnestrovian Human Rights Center under the Union of Russian Communities of Pridnestrovie.

The first place in the final was taken by Vladimir Zinar, a 5th-year student of the Faculty of Law of Pridnestrovian State University. He proposed to enshrine the institution of mentoring in legislation. This is especially important for the adaptation of young specialists in the professional environment. Vladimir was unable to attend the final stage of the competition due to illness. However, this did not prevent the expert jury from appreciating his initiative, noting its importance and relevance.

The silver prize was received by the initiative concerning the issue of lowering the age of administrative responsibility. The project was developed by a fourth-year student of the Tiraspol Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Ekaterina Georgitsa. The author substantiated the need for changes and supported her position with an analysis of foreign practice.

The work of Elizaveta Dombrovskaya, an 11th-grade student of Rybnitsa School No. 6 ended the top three places. Her law-in-draft is aimed at clarifying the legal wording in the Labor Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in order to avoid unjustified dismissal or denial of employment.

The competition will become permanent, according to the organizers.

All projects presented in the final of the competition were included in the Collection of legislative initiatives "#ВПраве".

The results of the competition are not only diplomas and gifts, but also the real interest of deputies in considering the submitted initiatives.
