The most talented and hardworking graduates - medalists of 2017 were honored today in the palace of the republic. The children talk with trembling and excitement about what these eleven years of school life were like before the start of the solemn part.

314 medalists graduated this year from Pridnestrovian schools, lyceums, gymnasiums. 217 graduates received gold medals, 97 - silver. Organizers prepared a bright laser show and creative performances as a gift for graduates. The head of state Vadim Krasnoselsky congratulated the graduates on successful graduation from the school. The President noted that the first serious awards in life, medals are the joint merit of graduates, parents and teachers.

Then the most exciting part came the awarding of gold and silver medals. The long-awaited awards were received from the hands of President Vadim Krasnoselsky, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, the head of the parliamentary committee on education, science and culture Mikhail Burla, Prime Minister Alexander Martynov, the head of the profile ministry Tatyana Loginova, rector of the State University named after T. Shevchenko, Stepan Beril, Deputy Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Moldova, Sergei Skvortsov.

After all the awards were presented, the persons of the ceremony themselves had a speech. Graduates promised to be active and initiative, achieve high goals, respect history, and be worthy citizens of Pridnestrovie.
