The possibility of privatization of housing

The Supreme Council deputies adopted in the final reading the amendments to some legislative acts, allowing the privatization of housing provided in the order of partial improvement of living conditions for those who were registered. The law-in-draft was adopted on the basis of people's appeals.

According to the amendments adopted today, it will be possible to privatize a dwelling with a smaller area, provided in the order of partial improvement of living conditions. At the same time, for one family member, it should be at least 12 square meters. Those wishing to receive such housing in the property must give consent. The law-in-draft will enter into force after signing by the President.

The deputies considered about 30 issues at the plenary session. The legislations dealt mainly with social policy.
