The Issues of Land Policy

A group of deputies of the Supreme Council: Alexander Korshunov, Sergei Pisarenko, Igor Yarych, Oleg Bayev, Valery Babchinetsky, Porfiry Shkilnyuk and Oleg Leontiev were the authors of the law-in-draft. The initiative was designed to support land users. As it was noted in the process of its consideration, the authors of the law-in-draft, the need for changes was due to complaints and complaints of farmers working on lands in the settlements, to a high tax burden, which compared to the tax on the republican agricultural land was significantly higher.

The Supreme Council in the first reading considered the law-in-draft "On Amendments and Addendum to the Land Code", which is aimed at regulating powers in the sphere of land legal relations. The initiative was developed by President Vadim Krasnoselsky. The author proposes to supplement the Land Code with a new article that consolidates the powers of the main executive authority in matters relating to land. This is the development and provision of a unified policy in the sphere of state regulation of land use, state management of lands. It was proposed to assign to the competence of the government the approval of the procedure for granting and termination of rights to land plots, protection of state ownership of land, the rights of land users and tenants, approval of the procedure for assigning land to categories and maintaining land cadastral documentation. In turn, the president's powers will extend to the right to approve and change the boundaries of the administrative and territorial units of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, to establish the boundaries of suburban areas.
