The session of the presidium was held at the Supreme Council. Parliamentarians outlined work plans for October. There are more than 35 issues on the agenda of tomorrow's plenary session. Deputies will consider a list of legislations, for which the Parliamentary Committee on Legislation is responsible. Most of the issues submitted for consideration by the deputy corps are related to the improvement of the norms of criminal procedural, civil and administrative legislation.
Parliamentarians are to consider a number of constitutional laws. The authors - a group of parliamentarians - proposed to amend the Constitution, strengthening the role and confirming the inviolability of the norms of the main law of the state. The purpose of the legislations, as stated in the explanatory note to the document, is "the strengthening of the role of constitutionalism". In particular, it is proposed to limit the Constitutional Court in resolving cases on the constitutionality of laws introducing amendments to the Constitution of the Republic.
The Supreme Council has to consider a number of issues related to the work of the media. At the next plenary meeting, the issue of appointing the editor-in-chief of "The News of Pridnestrovie" news agency was made. The government recommended the candidacy of Alexander Ivanishko, currently acting chief editor for this position. Deputies during the meeting will also consider the legislative initiative of Viktor Ivanchenkov, chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Pridnestrovie, whose goal is to grant the right of a public organization to create its own printed periodical under its historical name "Trade Union News".
The main issues for the next plenary sessions will be legislations, designed to support the economy of the republic.
By decision of the Presidium members, the next plenary meeting is scheduled for October 11.
