The Question of Employment

Parliamentarians discussed the law-in-draft of deputy V convocation Vladimir Bodnar on making amendments to the law "On education" in the first reading. Legislative Initiative offered to give graduates of vocational training organizations, trained at the expense of the republican budget, the right to seek employment on their own, but only in exceptional cases. Today budget graduates do not have such a possibility. In accordance with the contract for the provision of educational services Educational institutions are obliged to take measures on employment specialist. Graduates, in turn, have to work in their specialty from one year to three years in the organs of state power and institutions of the republic. Budget graduates are graduates have right to self-employment, if within a year after graduation they could not get a job.

The law-in-draft on amendments in the basic education law was presented by Chairman of the parliamentary committee Mikhail Burla during the plenary session. He noted the importance of adopting the initiative, complaining that, in practice, not all graduates of professional organizations may be employed.

The proposal to develop an effective method of profession teaching from the budget was announced. Deputy Mikhail Burla noted the importance of having a clear economic model of development of the republic to implement this idea in practice.

23 deputies voted for the law-in-draft after discussion of topical issues of the adoption. The document was adopted in the first reading, the second it will be finalized taking into account comments and suggestions. Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Culture Mikhail Burla spoke about the necessity of negotiations in the Supreme Council of the public hearings on the topic of employment of young specialists.
