The issue of untimely payment of monetary compensation to individual entrepreneurs

7031 appealed to the territorial bodies of the republic for monetary compensation, according to information from the Unified State Social Insurance Fund, dated May 25. These lists were submitted for inspection to the tax office. Data for 5535 entrepreneurs is verified, 3535 of which have confirmed their status and are eligible for monetary compensation. During the March period of the emergency regime, 2837 people received it. An amount of 1 million 874 thousand rubles was allocated from the budget for this purpose. Applications from 2226 individual entrepreneurs were received by the Unified State Social Insurance Fund. They have not yet received monetary compensation. The issue of late payments today at the plenary session was raised by deputies of the Supreme Council.

The mechanism for receiving monetary compensation by individual entrepreneurs who suspended activities during the state of emergency was prescribed in the law “On state support during the state of emergency 2020”. The document was adopted by the Supreme Council on April 8 and signed by the President on April 10. According to the deputies of the Supreme Council, the slowdown in the process of issuing payments to an individual entrepreneur is connected with the subjective interpretation of the norms of the current legislation by some representatives of the executive bodies of state administration. Deputies note that clarifications and interpretations of the norms of laws are the exclusive competence of the Supreme Council.
