The question “what then?” is waiting for a response

Oleg Vasilaty drew attention to another equally urgent question, exciting citizens – termination of benefits for public transport for students and partial - for pensioners. The report of government presented that such a saving on transport costs of 10 million rubles a year. According to the legislator, the budget is replenished “at the expense of citizens’ pocket”. Against the background of the fact that the state, on the one hand, state employees and pensioners pay incomplete wage and pension, and on the other - there is an increase in prices, parliamentarians could not interested in the question, what is the main function of the state.

Oleg Vasilaty noted that the transition of state employees in July last year to a four-day working week has led to a decrease in earnings of citizens, reducing the number of worked hours in the industry for 5%.

In the course of the discussion of the government's report the decrease of investments in the past year compared with 2011 was mentioned. Program of capital investments halved: from 30 to 15 million rubles.

The parliamentarian emphasized the necessity to find additional sources of funding in order to answer the main question of the future of the republic.
