Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov emphasized that the Parliament deputies as representatives of the people of our republic could not stay away from the egregious situation that is developing with the freedom of movement of our citizens.
“The ban on the passage of vehicles with Pridnestrovian license plates, including cargo, passenger and ambulance vehicles, violates not only the rights and freedoms of people, but also ethical norms. Today, the Supreme Council, on the basis of information provided among other things by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, adopted a statement in which it assessed the destructive actions of the leadership of Moldova and appealed to all participants in the "5 + 2" format, international organizations and the Russian Federation as a guarantor country, peacemaking country with a call to stop the violation of the rights of Pridnestrovians.
I am confident that by joint efforts with the President and the executive authorities, we will be able to restore the right of our citizens to freedom of movement”, said Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov.
